Dadi ABCmouse Learning Path Introduction






ABCmouse is a children's online English learning product created by Age of Learning, Inc., a US-based company, over the course of several years, available at www.abcmouse.com. The platform includes over ten thousand English learning activities carefully designed by early childhood experts, covering a wide range of American general education content. It encompasses various subjects such as reading, mathematics, basic science, family, community, art, and music, allowing young children to learn independently and also be used in conjunction with any English curriculum at schools. It is currently suitable for children aged 2 to 8 years old.




I.  What is a Learning Path?

In simple terms, a learning path the arrangement of learning activities designed to achieve learning objectives while aligning with students' learning patterns and levels. It allows students to progressively learn and ultimately attain a successful learning outcome.




II. Types of Learning Paths

ABCmouse offers two types of learning paths: those provided by the platform itself and those that can be selected by teachers through the Teaching End. In addition to the default platform learning paths, the teaching end can choose from several types of learning paths, including:

1. ABC Guided Learning Learning Path

2. ABC Classroom Learning Path

3. Elementary School Guided Learning Path

4. After-School Guided Learning Path

Additionally, there are three resource paths that complement American English activities, namely:

1. English Festival Materials

2.  Read Aloud for Ten Minutes

3.Weekly Song




III. Brief Introduction of Each Learning Path

1. ABC Guided Learning Path

(1) Applicable Audience: Recitative students, global-oriented students

(2) Content Overview:

[ABC Guided Learning Pre-Level] is an elementary learning activity that extends from Level 1-6. The main focus is on themed activities, including basic greetings, family members, body parts, numbers, colors, fruits, and approximately ten everyday scenarios. It combines rich accompanying materials and activities to allow preschool-age children to experience authentic American pronunciation and intonation in a joyful context and animations. It introduces diverse and interesting activity forms, cultivating a strong interest in learning.

[ABC Guided Learning Level 1-6] covers 60+ English themes, the 44 sounds in American English, 11 vocabulary families, and the learning of over 1600+ spoken words.

2. ABC Classroom Learning Path

(1) Applicable Audience: rhythmic students

(2) Content Overview: [ABC Classroom] focuses on the fundamental 44 sounds in American English, extending to six vocabulary families, supplemented with spoken themes and classic songs.

3. Elementary School Guided Learning  Path

(1) Applicable Audience: Students who have graduated from kindergarten and entered elementary school (recitative students, global-oriented students)

(2) Content Overview: Continuing from [ABC Guided Learning] the "Elementary School Guided Learning" program is a practical English learning system for young children that builds upon the foundation of basic pronunciation. It focuses on accumulating commonly used English vocabulary and colloquial words. [Elementary School Guided learning translates knowledge points such as phonetics and grammar into understandable input, gradually integrating them into each lesson. It emphasizes the development of a child's language sense and English thinking, laying a solid foundation for English learning in elementary school

4. After-School Guided Learning Path

(1) Applicable Audience: rhythmic students looking to advance to recitative student level

(2) Content Overview: Adhering to the educational concept of "learning with practical use," it selects 34 conventional themes closely related to children's daily lives and 6 common European and American festivals as the primary learning content. This is both a supplementary and an independent advanced learning content system alongside "ABC Guided Learning."

(2) Content Overview: A collection of materials based on six common Western festivals. 

2.  Read Aloud for Ten Minutes

(2) Content Overview: A collection of content featuring one song per week.
