Recitative Students

 Dadi Recitative Student Explanation

Different parents have different goals and expectations for their Students's upbringing, so they may set different learning objectives. In the ABCmouse guided learning mode, Students who study are categorized into three types based on their English abilities, namely Rhythmic Students, Recitative Students, and Global-Oriented Students, ranging from low to high proficiency

Definition:

Recitative Students are a type of student cultivated based on their immersion in English.

Based on the amount of time students dedicate to English learning each week and their educational objectives, Dadi defines students who invest a minimum of 300 minutes per week as Recitative Students. This category of students can proficiently grasp vocabulary and sentence structures, have a certain level of language sense, can deliver English speeches lasting at least 3-5 minutes, and are benchmarked against students from English training institutions in terms of their English proficiency and abilities.

Learning Mode:

1. Students should have their own personal dedicated accounts; it's not mandatory for nursery-level students.

2. Students have 200 minutes of English exposure at kindergarten, allocated as follows:

1) Time allocation for American English classes:

--They can attend a full 5 sessions of American English classes each week, with each session lasting 30 minutes, totaling 150 minutes per week.

--Additionally, there are 2 sessions of self-directed online learning using the app (i.e., computer classroom classes) each week, with each session lasting 25 minutes, totaling 50 minutes per week.

2) Recitative Students have a dedicated learning path with approximately 3,500 materials.

3) Through the platform, Students can learn: basic pronunciation, sentence puzzles, poetry and songs, books and stories, classic nursery rhymes, and more.

4) Students are encouraged to actively participate in on-campus English activities such as the Story Talent Show, Super Orator, Raise Your Mic, and Dadi Carnival.

5) The English-speaking environment created on campus helps Students improve their spoken English. This includes English teaching in the classroom and English immersion in daily campus life.

Students have 100 minutes of English exposure at home. In addition to classroom contact and learning, Students are required to continue reviewing and consolidating their knowledge when they return home. Proper use of the app and the development of good habits are also important. They are expected to complete teacher-assigned home games and activities every day, totaling 20 minutes per day and 100 minutes over 5 days.

Guided Learning Direction:

--Guide Students to learn American English along with the platform, helping them develop the habit of "listening carefully and speaking along."

--Guide Students to follow platform readings and recitations.

--Cultivate Students's ability to independently present (3-5 minute speeches).
